Proposition I, or the Affordable Housing Guarantee Act, is a crucial vote for San Franciscans to fund, and therefore construct and preserve affordable housing in the city. This will fight displacement for tenants, support working class families, and build housing by dedicating an existing tax on billionaires that comes out of sales of $10 million properties.

This ballot measure will dedicate the funding that currently gets added to the city’s general fund to specifically fund affordable housing programs like community land trusts, public housing, below market rate units and 100% affordable non-profit housing developments.
