Join SF PROPEL, The Phoenix Project, the SF People’s Budget and Real Reform SF at El Rio for a town hall covering the drastic charter propositions and the long-term ramifications if voters approve their passage. If you are wondering why the Mayor is popping onto every screen you see talking about ‘fixing the system’ nearly two years into his term as the head of said system, then this is the event for you!

League of Pissed-Off Voters Launch Party
The League of Pissed-Off Voters are dropping their guide Thursday, October 1 at Standard Deviant Brewing in the Mission! They’ll be sharing their top-of-the-line voter guide, so bring your own bag, grab a handful and help spread the word. Stick around because they’ll be streaming the KQED congressional debate at 7:30PM between Supervisor Connie Chan and Sen. Scott Wiener, moderated by Mission Local’s Joe Eskenazi and the NYT’s Heather Knight. It should be a spicy watch, pairs well with delicious beer.
